SEND/Young Carers/Pupil Premium

Our inclusive farm sessions provide a calm, supportive space for children to explore, connect and thrive through gentle, hands-on experiences in nature.

Designed for children with additional needs, young carers and those who may benefit from extra support, sessions focus on wellbeing, confidence-building and creating positive outdoor experiences.

Through activities such as meeting animals, sensory exploration and nature-based crafts, children are encouraged to engage at their own pace in a safe and nurturing environment.

Led by an experienced primary school teacher, sessions can be adapted to meet individual needs, ensuring every child feels supported, valued and able to enjoy their time on the farm.

Due to Government Funding, these sessions are FREE for groups of 4 children or two children in the morning/two children in the afternoon. These sessions can last for a minimum of 2 hours or a full school day.

  • Children must bring their own packed lunch and a drinks bottle.
  • Children should come dressed appropriately for the weather, including warm, waterproof clothing or sun hats and sun cream in warmer months. In line with Government advice, long sleeves and trousers are recommended to help protect against ticks when exploring outdoor environments. For health and safety reasons, wellies or old trainers should be brought along for sessions, along with a change of footwear for the journey home.
  • Handwashing, boot-washing and toilet facilities are all available on-site.
